Yep, more for the “to read” list.
Yet another “best of” list: Time Magazine’s 100 Best English-Language Novels from 1923 to the present.
A few observations: Totally cool that they included The Watchmen. Ugh, the long, overly dramatic The Corrections is on there, but not the elegant The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay? Nice tip of the hat to Judy Blume by including Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. Why Jerry Kosinski’s The Painted Bird and not Being There? Good call on White Noise.
